TY. so far
I had following test done
1) 1 week 4th gen ab/ag duo -ve
2) 4 1/2 week 4th gen ab/ag duo -ve
3) 5 1/2 week 4th gen ab/ag duo -ve
4) 5 1/2 week RNA TMA non-reactive...
UPDATES:
5) 7 12/ week (53 days) - HIV HOME ACESS (2nd generation) where you send out blood sample and they get you results - negative
6) 8 WEEK - I got the CMIA test (not sure which generation was that) that check antibodies for hiv1/2.......
Also, I had PCR RNA QUALITATIVE AND QUANTATIVE (accuracy <47) and those came back negative.....
However, I'm getting following symptoms which tell me the other things.
1) Lost of Body muscle mass all over the body, from last week I've lost buttock muscles crazily where I can not sit properly for more then 10 min.
2) tinnitus
3) I'm eating 3-4 times quantitiy wise nutritional food and my stool just comes out 50% less then regular.
Thank you for your quick reply. Yes. we need to go buy the guidelines.
I have anxiety issues as well and I thought that if the virus is present in blood then ab/ag would count, etc...and that was the reason I got the RNA TMA non-reactive... test done. It just feel that people in my situation wants to know asap but can't.
Your results are unlikely to change
Your test are very reassuring but still not conclusive. Have a 4th gen test done at 6 weeks. This will give you very accurate results unlikely to change. Your test you've done so far is around 95% accurate but not conclusive. Test at 6 weeks than have a simple rapid test done at 12 weeks.

Your 4 week test is excellent indication - a laboratory 4th gen test picks up almost everyone. You may repeat at 6 weeks to be absolutely sure.
Unprotected receptive anal sex carries the highest risk for HIV. the fact that you have hemorroids makes it even riskier.
If this happens again (please protect yourself and use condoms and lube) you have the option of seeking PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) within 72 hours. This is a combination of 3 anti retroviral medications taken for 28 days which is highly effective in preventing infection in people exposed to the virus (full adherence is required). It's not, however, 100% effective. Taking it early dramatically increases its effectiveness (minutes are better than hours and hours certainly better than days).
If you find yourself repeatedly in risky situations you may want to consider PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis). This is a 1 pill a day regime of Truvada. Studies have shown that it is highly effective in preventing infection in HIV negative people.
The rna test looks for the virus itself. You also need to know HIV symptoms mean nothing with HIV. A rna test is very very accurate but not conclusive. Your 4th week 4th generation test is a good indication of your status but not conclusive. If I were you I'd just take another 4th generation test at the 6 week Mark. the rna test is expensive and it has a higher rate of false positive that can increase your anxiety. Relax...the numbers are on your side. At 6 weeks it will give you Damn near conclusive results and its very rare that any modern hiv test will change after 6 weeks.
