Make yourself busy in work, do yoga and meditation, go for a walk everyday for at least half hour it will help you get proper sleep and all symptoms will go away in few days.
thanx a lot davein......!!
Please stop worrying about HIV your husband don't have HIV. Do enjoy your life and live it fully. Stop wasting your life's valuable time in thinking about something which don't exist. Rash and fever can occur due to lots of other reasons. He doesn't need any testing for HIV. Move on.

u dint answer my last post teak.....one more think i wud like to add that he had got his annual blood test done where his TLC is 7600 and hb 15....which comes in the absolute normal range.....is it ture had he been infected it wud have been higher or much lower than normal.....i really want to move on..this 6 month waiting is killing me....
6 months is outdated , 12 weeks is conclusive ,move on
so the symptom meant nothing??? can v just move on and he need not get tested again at 6 months??(the doctor i consulted asked us to get a repeated test done at 6 months) can we now have a normal sex life or do we need to take precaution....to add the body rash appeared just 2 days after the exposure n lasted 2 days ...n the fever started at 4 days (after the rash disappeared) n lasted for three days...his symptoms came n go within a week after exposure.......what does that mean?? this is gonna be my last post to u......u r a kind soul.....stay blessed !!
HIV is not transmitted by kissing, closed mouth or French kissing with or without cuts or sores in your mouth.
the kiss i meant was not a closed mouth kiss it was a deep french kiss......though there were no ulcer in his mouth but there could have been some unnoticed cuts inside the mouth which can make the transmission possible...um sorry dont want to bother u much but um dead worried....
There are lot of reasons for your rash, sore throat, fever. Anxiety and Stress can make your symptoms even worse... Just see your doctor for your symptoms but it has nothing to do with HIV.
Test results beat symptoms. As he had a negative result at 16 weeks post exposure it's definitely conclusive.
Good luck.
thanks teak for ur quick reply...its really kind of u to answer my question....um just worried about the symptoms he experienced....rash,fever n sore throat all in a row n the rash was exactly on those parts of body where hiv rash occurs(chest,stomach,face n arms) i really want to forgive him n move on in life with him n my 5 year daughter....
thanks davein for ur comment.....but the only thing bothering me is the unusual set of symptoms that appeared...rash,fever n a sore throat within a weak after exposure...
HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child
HIV do not transmit with Protected sex, kissing and fingering. As your husband didn't have any exposure to HIV and didn't need to be get tested even once. But as far as HIV testing its 100% conclusive after 12 weeks. He is HIV negative.
