worried

i had an unprotected sex vaginal and oral 2 weeks ago with a girl of unkown history.... vaginal for only 30 seconds or less with no proper erection due to fear and lots of alcohol.........and i received a ** as well..

sine then i have some symptoms....

1. joint pain for two days only in the hand
2. night sweats
3. sore throat mild
4. white tongue
5. a bit feverish

i have had a test of HIV after one week from exposure (negative) and a test for Chlaymdia and UTI negative

please let me know

what are the risks of HIV contraction and std

You were given the correct information. We can't help you with your anxiety issue. Had you used a condom correctly and consistently you wouldn't be in this situation.

i agree... i discon all relations for that reason and will not commence till i am sure after 3 months

but i can't sleep at night now and i need to know that risk level.......

We don't get into small risk, big risk, medium risk. It's a risk or it's not. What if you did get HIV but we told you that you had a very very small risk? Then you have unprotected sex with 10 other people and infect those people. Wouldn't we be doing a great disservice?

but since i did not have a full erection and the time was too lessss............ will this reduce the risk a lot

just to state again...probably low, but testing is advised because a risk is a risk.

any other comments... on the level of risk from the short vaginal exposure...is it low or too loww

Also oral sex does not carry a risk for HIV. And you can't use symptoms to diagnosis HIV.

Be patient, people answer questions for free and when they have time.
You had a risk for HIV, so you would need to test 3 months after exposure for a conclusive result. Risk was probably low due to the time, but it takes only one time.

All STD questions need to be posted in the STD community.

i received oral ** from a sex paid women arounnd 16 days ago as well....

just to mention that each symptom was only for one or two days

+ diarrhhea for one day and again today (mild).

today is the 14 th day

pls help am i at risk of hiv or std.....
