SSHL & Acupuncture/Chiropractic Medicine

Has anyone used Acupuncture or Chiropractors to help with SSHL.  I read somewhere (and darned if I can find it now) that a few people have had some success with these type of procedures.  Never having had any experience with either of them, was wondering what your thoughts are on this.  Have profound deafness in my left ear since October 30 2013 and am willing to try anything.  What about the Cros hearing aid?

What is the cause of the Left ear hearing loss? Was this diagnosed by an ENT? Sensorineural hearing loss is permanent. Acupuncture or Chiropractor can not reverse it.

That is not always true.  A lot of people get back some of their hearing even though it may take 1 year or even more.  To say something is permanent which is true in some cases is in my opinion irresponsible.  Everyone needs hope even if it may not seem possible.  And of course this was diagnosed by an ENT . . why would I diagnose myself?  Sorry but I am not in agreement with this response.  And you did not address the Cros hearing aid which has helped some people.
