29 years old with high blood pressure

I was 17 when i was diagonesd with high blood pressure, i was eating a lot of salty food, i stopped it and my blood pressure was fine, I've been off and on blood pressure medication, but for the last 4 years i have had untreated high blood pressure  and i was really over weight, i went to my doctors and i bend down when i got back up my heart rate was 188 they did an EKG and my rate had already gone back down to 112, he told me to go to the ER right way, i went and they did ct scan of the brain, nuclear medicine test since im allergic to the iodine, x-rays of the chest and a echocargiogram, everything came back negative, they gave me cardizem 60 mg every 8 hours to stable my heart rate, i am on a heart ekg monitor for a month, i am not a smoker or a drinker my cholestral is perfect and my sugar, my question is can i possibly have an arota dissection or anyruesym due to the blood pressure i had it 150/110 when it was untreated. ive lost 33 pounds, ive had 2 echocardiograms and both came back normal, ive had this pressure in my head for 2 months dont know if its from anxiety or due to lack of oxygen to the brain, also ive had excessive yawning, im terrified that it could be a dissection, can echocardiograms rule out a dissection anywhere in the body ? also my blood pressure is at 120/74 now.

Thank you for your info, i was also afraid of clogged arteries since i eat fast food almost  everyday for the last four years, the last 2 months ive been on a strict diet have lost 35 pounds but i still feel dizzy everyday, but i dont think clogged arteries can cause dizzyness for more than 2 months right. i have suffered from anxiety before now im just confused on whats going on in my body.

I think you are misunderstanding what aortic dissection is.

This is an acute medical condition, which will cause death if not treated within minutes/hours. It will manifest with worst ever stomach/chest pain, loss of blood pressure, rapid heart rate, and other symptoms of heavy bleeding.

And more important - this is nothing you should worry about at age 29. For this to happen, you need an aneurism on the aorta, which rarely happens in anyone younger than 50. This aneurism must expand for years and decades before it's at risk for rupturing.

They usually examine the aorta when you get an echo done. Ask your doctor if they did examine it. If not, and if you are still worried, you can ask your doctor for an ultrasound of the aorta, but to me, this sounds more like anxiety than any cardiovascular disease. Anyway, ask your doctor for a professional opinion.

Bending down and up can trigger so-called supraventricular tachycardias. If you still have a problem with a racing heart, you should get it investigated. Supraventricular tachycardia is a benign but bothersome condition that many of us occationally have.

Yes, I would think that the Echo would show signs of a dissection. And from what I have heard from my doctor there is chest pain that can radiate to the back.  He sent me off to the ER recently because he thought the Aorta may be involved. I had chest pain with pain between my shoulder blades.  I was having a heart attack, but the aorta was not involved. I had several blockages in the right heart. When was the last cardiac evaluation you had? Your pressure seems fine now.
