Blood Pressure

Hi everyone,

Just got a blood pressure reading of 104/64. Is that too low?

It has me worried though I really don't feel any synptoms like dizziness or weakness. Maybe a little sleepy, but I usually am between 4-7PM.

Is this something I need to have checked out? Is it urgent?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there.
The numbers you quote for your BP are very good.
On the basis that there are no other medical issues,
there should be nothing to worry about in them.

Low BP is usually under 100 over 60, but its dependent on symptoms after that. A lot of people have no symptoms when the bp is a little low.
Most doctors would just love the numbers you have !

Maybe if you consume a little extra water it may rise a little. Also watch when standing up that you dont stand too quickly, as you could possibly get a little dizzy.

Hi Tacolino,

Thanks for the help! No other issues, aside from panic attacks, anxiety (hence the worry), and asthma.

I exercise relatively regularly and have done so for the past 2 months or so after deciding to lose weight. It just got me worried because I'm not sure if I've ever had a reading like that in the past.

In any case, thank you for letting me know and putting me at ease.
