Elective Double CABG - Acute Ascending Aortic Dissection - Ischaemic Stroke

The question title above lists the order of events that has changed my 57yr YOUNG wife forever.  We were advised to pursue open heart double CABG after an angiogram discovered 60% blockage in her upper LADA.  The dissection occurred (6 1/2 weeks post CABG surgery) at the point of one of the bypass sutures.
My question is simple...
What does the research tell us about the rarity or possibility of this particular CABG outcome?

Wow.  Was this catastrophic? Did your young wife survive? The reading I've done says this is a rare situation which doesn't matter when your wife sadly suffered this outcome. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/18392846/  https://journal.chestnet.org/article/S0012-3692(21)01695-0/fulltext  It's sited in literature as rare but again, that doesn't matter when it is your wife.  Please give an update to how your wife is doing now. That's really horrific, you are right.
