"Alcohol reduces blood flow to the muscles, including the heart, causing muscle weakness and deterioration. One outcome is cardiomyopathy (sluggish heart) which is common in alcoholics. Another outcome, arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat), or "holiday heart,"is often treated in emergency wards after several days of party drinking.
Just something to think about.  Take care, Ally

condoline is right but are you sure you are not suffering from heart burn sometimes they can feel like a heart attack or panic attacks do the same thing. But as condoline said see a cardiologist dont leave it. Look after yourself, you're the only one you got.

Your benders aren't doing you any good, but beyond that, did nobody give you a stress test? And how about a panel of blood tests to help to find out what is wrong? Please see a cardiologist or if you are anywhere near a clinic such as Mayo or Cleveland, go there and get "the works."
