Does inflammation cause scarring of arteries

Had heart attack 6 years ago. Don't want another one.

Short question, short answer...  Inflamation itself does not cause scarring.  However being inflamed/enlarged can lead to tissue rubbing or stretching which can cause scarring.
Nobody wants another one!!!!

Sorry, but there's not enough information to work with.  The best thing for you to do is ask your cardiologist about this.  Since six years have passed, time's a-wasting.
