EP test

I am 29 yrs old and just found out that  have neurocardiogenic syncope. I tokk a tilt table test and my b/p fell to 60/30 and my heart rate fell from 104 to 54 when I passed out.My DR. is now sending me to a cardio dr. and he said that I might have to take an EP test.I wanted to know how that test works.I have been passing out now for yrs and it has been getting worse thats why I went to my DR.I was told by my DR. that NCS is not heart disease but it still has to deal with the nerves in the heart.I want to know ifI should be worried about this or not.It would be helpful if anyone could help.

Thank you for the time.

My little 4 year old is scheduled to go through the same test on June 5th and most likely he will be getting his little pacemaker.
I asked the same questiona and found that they instert a tube (caterder) into your groin and into your neck area. this way here they can try to get your heart into some type of arrythmeia.
you have to lay still during it you are "awake" be have medications in you so you really don't know what is going on.
then after the proceedure you have to la still for a while and then they go from there.
If you want scroll down to y post and there is a great link there to help you know about it.
good luck
