Feet and Ankles Swelling 3 Weeks After Quintuple By-Pass

Greetings again Everyone, Well my quintuple bypass has been 3 weeks ago and all is going pretty good except that if I sit for 30 minutes or stand and walk for approximately that long my Feet and Ankles swell very badly (2 to 3 times normal) more so on the right side. They do not hurt or anything but the swelling has me concerned. My questions are is this normal and will they eventually stop swelling and if this is normal when may I expect this swelling to stop happening? I am not on any diuretics at this time. Thanks in advance for your responses.

That does not stroke me a completely normal.  What has your physician said?  Are you less symptomatic otherwise?

Just to keep my Feet up above my Head. Other than that I am doing pretty well. I see him later this week and will ask him then about the swelling but I just wanted to see if others have had this problem and if so the results of it.
Well I have a different cardiac issue. But as a nurse... Leg swelling is a bit concerning.  Do you have leg pain?   Mostly right leg?
I have no pain, just the swelling, and it appears that my right Foot swells slightly larger than the left Foot
