Hello. I had several tests performed by my cardiologist including holter monitor, stress test, ECG. Everything came back normal. However, ECG showed elevated RVSP (TR) of 30.4mmHg, RA Press 3.00 mmHg. There is trace tricuspid regurgitation. Right ventricle is normal in size and functiion. My cardiologist does not seem to be concerned about it and told me to follow up in 6 months. On the other hand, pulmonologist that I decided to consult with wants to move further to test for pulmonary hypertension. I feel conflicted whose advice to follow. In addition, I have a history of thyroid cancer (papillary stage 1, bening lymph nodes) and radioactive iodine treatment. I had total thyroidectomy about year ago. At the time of ECG I was hypothyroid with TSH level 5.3. The reason I went to see cardiologist were heart palpitations that I have periodically upon waking up from my sleep.
