How serious is it

My relative is detected with
1. Ischamic heart disease
2. Mild Systolic dyfunction (EF=45%)
3. Diastolic Dyfunction (A.E)
4. MIld Mitral Regurgitation
Apart from the medicines for high BP, cholesterol, heart, iron ( anemic), calcium ( without calcium carbonate- arthritis)
and for piles she has recently been given ANGIPAN - TR. From what i know it is an SOS under normal conditions. Is the regular consumption of ANGIPAN safe ? This is my second worry. Do give me clear picture of whats happening and what role do i need to play.
Thankyou
Vineeta.

>>>>Ischemic heart disease is a lack of normal blood flow to the heart.  Usually due to occluded coronary vessels.

>>>>Mild systolic (pumping phase) dysfunction indicates the heart beats are not of normal strength.  Normal is an ejection fraction (EF) of 55 to 75%, and that is the amount of blood ;umped with each heartbeat.

>>>>>Diastolic (filling phase) dysfunction indicates the heart's filling capability is impaired, and that can be due to heart wall thickening that reduces the chamber size, and thickened walls are more rigid and don't expand as well to accept a higher volume of blood.

>>>>>>ANGIPAN - TR is a nitrate to dilate coronary vessels so more blood can flow to heart cells.  Follow doctor's instruction for use.  Sometimes the medication is to be taken on a daily basis to prevent chest pain (angina). I take the medicaiton prior to going to gym for a workout...provides better tolerance for exercising. There may be a buildup of toerance for the medication and requires to be off for a few days or so.  Consult with doctor.
