How to reduce the complications of coronary artery disease?

Recently my father was diagnosed with coronary artery disease.He has multiple heart blockages.Thre of his arteries have almost 90% blockage.Doctor says to take him for bypass surgery so can anyone please tell me the name of a good cardiosurgeon in India and also how to reduce the risks of the surgery and any tips on what I can do to help him?Please help!!

Hi Tallguy99.....I'm no expert on the medical side and that needs to be sorted if he has blockages....I hope others will respond soon.  I can suggest reading the books by Dr Dean Ornish and Dr Caldwell Esselstyn (you can google them) both have shown reversal of disease in patients using diet.  Important to sort out the medical treatment though.  I hope you get some help soon there are risks with the blockages, so I would get treatment as soon as you've found a good surgeon,  I wish you and your father all the best.
