LV ejection fraction 50-55, please help :(

I'm 25 years old, i've been suffering from severe anxiety panic since i was a toddler! Ive had ongoing issues of chest pain, palps for years. Finally i had an echo in 2010 after passing out in the shower for unknown reason, showed it was normal my ejection fraction was 60%, also had an ekg and 2 week holter monitor all normal. in 2011 i had a stres test normal, and repeated an echo due to my high anxiety of health problems i think i always have. well this time, my echo showed i had an left ejection fraction of 50-55 which is low normal, now i'm extremly anxious something is wrong with my heart! my cardio reassured i had a stress test, ekg, and recent chest xray all normal but he wanted to repeat in a year to make sure nothing was changing. is this something i should be concerned about????

EF% changes from day to day depending on your overall health and conditioning. As long as you're in the normal range you should not have anything to worry about. I bet the test next year will be back up. The difference between 55% and your previous 60% is very little.

I think you can relax!

A "NORMAL" ef% is between 50 and 70%. You have nothing to worry about here.
