Leaky Valves 2

OK I will post the question again.  Is it possible that 2 leaky valves would cause my heart rate to elevate quickly during exercise?  If so how am I supposed to exercise?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the answer.  I couldn't find my other post.  I don't have an arythmia based on my stress test, but he only let me do it for 6 minutes before taking me off.  My target rate was 160 and he pulled me off when I got to 170, then told me I had no arythmia and that my heart rate came down properly.  I am just confused as to why I get up so high so quickly.

As stated in the prior post (no need to double post) leaking valves have no relationship to heart rate. Leaking valves indicate there is some backflow of blood when the  ventricles contract usually the result of the leaflets not properly closing, etc. The condition is a manifestation of a physical anomaly....heart rate and rate regularity relates to electrical, chemical  physiology.
If you have irregular, fast heart rate, the doctor can prescribe beta blocker medication.  It is not unusual, if there is arrhythmia proclivity, to have an event when exercising.  Talk to your doctor.
