one of them said I might have mild LVH others don't agree ! I had cardiac ablation for benign RVOT PVCs four months ago .  I have had since I was a teenager and I was wondering if they could cause my walls to thicker a bit  ?
or my MRI it said mildly dilated NON hypertrophic LV and on my echos it always says that LV is NOT dilated ? this is so confusing .

Normal ranges are 6 - 10 mm, mild hypertrophy is 11 - 13 mm. Having said that, some labs have normal from 8 - 12 mm so there really is no need to get too worked up. I've been at 11 MM for 15 years.

The important thing is to keep the underlying conditions that cause LVH under control, mostly High Blood Pressure. Also keep in mind that if you are more athletic your wall thickness will be higher as well. I would get tested every other year or so and just keep an eye on it. I'm guessing that what you're seeing is normal for your growth pattern. What did the doctor that ordered the test say?
