Low HDL and high Triglycerides

Hi all! I am a 33 year old female, non smoker/drinker, 20 pounds overweight. My blood pressue is usually 105-110/70-75. I just had a blood test done to check my hormone levels and my cholesterol too. This are the
results:

Total cholesterol: 169
LDL: 89
HDL: 34
Triglycerides: 230

Insulin at fast: 9.87

I am concerned about my HDL and Triglycerides. There’s no heart desease in my family and I had an ecocardiogram done in June (due to some PVC’s) but that came back completely normal. Am I at risk of heart desease? I already lost 50lbs and working on losing the extra 20lbs, but those levels still worry me.

I really appreciate any help I can get! Thank you.

All pretty normal values.

Contrary to popular belief theres actually very little benefit to having high hdl. Theres nothing really "good" about good cholesterol, aside from it not being "bad cholesterol".

If you cut out smoking and drinking and keep losong weight then you're on the right track.

Thank you! I don’t smoke or drink so thats good :) I’ll keep working on losing the extra weight and check my levels again in 6 months.
