Heart not pumping much

Hi,

My dad (78 years old) is on dialysis since last year due to kidney failure, on top of that he has a Coronary Heart Disease since 2000, so he is on meds. He does 3x a week then reduce to 2x week dialysis. Since last July of this year my dad has been experiencing too much weakness than normal. He can barely walk anymore. Then, he started having too low BP after each dialysis to the point that he passes out & sometimes get stiff. Last week he had mild strokes & his bp went too low that he was rushed to the emergency by the people from the dialysis center.

Since last week his doctors puts him on everyday dialysis & said that base from all his test results his heart is too weak already that it's not pumping that much anymore, which results to having too much fluid on his lungs which causes him having SOB.

We told his doctors if he can have only 1x week dialysis because it seems like dialysis is putting too much strain his heart plus he feels too much weak after the procedure. they said he needs it more than 1x week because of the fluid build up due to his heart not pumping much anymore.

My question is, is there any meds to resolve that issue & to make him not weak? What will happen to my dad if he doesn't do dialysis anymore? Is it possible to stop the dialysis so his heart can get stronger then resume dialysis?

I know he is in too much pain already. What is the best option for my dad?

Was it a weak heart that caused kidney problems in the first place, or did he have some
other kidney disease? Did they do a tissue match with you in particular to see if you
could donate him a kidney?
