How serious is this? I was put on BP meds and aspirin for now. I see a cardiologist next week. I am clinically Obese, 36 year old Female.

I am curious because we're going to Disneyland tomorrow. I am just worried.

Symptoms are:

PVCs (Arrhythmia)
Hard to breath when sleeping ( At times)
REM sleep brings on Arrhythmia
BP 120/89 Normally

I have Gerd

Thanks for your help!

Michelle

Hi there. From what you say your EF is 65% ? This is the blood volume pumped out of the Left Ventricle in each contraction. 65% is really good! Average is 55 - 70% . I wonder what test you had. I presume it was an Angiogram/ Heart Cath?  Why were BP meds prescribed? Your BP seems fairly ok. Are you getting all the facts? Its just the details of the problem seem a little confused. Make sure to write out any questions for Cardio before your Appt. If its reversible thats good news of course. Keep up the walking whatever happens. When you see the Cardio, you will get the walking lecture no doubt! Keep us posted. Dont go too mad in Disney, but enjoy it. Things will work out for you

Hi Michelle,
of course ischemia is not good. As long as it is reversible there is no permanent damage done to the heart muscle.
I do not exactly know what is meant with 65% reversible with a breakdown etc., but if it means that the ischemia is not completely reversible, this is a serious situation.
Ischemia will occur the most during physical exercise, so I would suggest that you take it easy till you see your cardiologist.

take care,
Ger
