What does this Conclusion for the stress mayocardial perfusion test:
Conclusion:
1) Severe reversible myocardial ischaemia involving apex, anteroseptal wall and interventricular septum.
2) Severe reversible myocardial ischaemia involving inferior and inferolateral walls with moderate reversible ischaemia of lateral wall.
Hello and hope you are doing well.
The results reflect an abnormal stress test. It means that there poor perfusion to the apical segment of the heart indicating ischemia (loss of blood supply) to that segment.. The ejection fraction is below normal. The ejection fraction is a useful measure of left ventricular performance. The normal range is 63-77% for males and 55-75% for females. It reflects the pumping capacity of the heart. The end diastolic volume is normal.
Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
