NM MOI LEXIACAN SPECT MULTIPLE IMAGES REST AND STRESS

so I got my husbands stress test results back and I have called his cardiologist several times and have not gotten a call back. this is how the test reads.
impression
there is a moderate sized fixed defect present in the apical to basal inferior was(S) demonstrating a nontransmural scar and no ischemia.; ECG non-diagnostic due to resting ST-T abnormalities; mild dyspnea reported during the stress test; stress EF is 43%; stress function comments: wall motion post stress is abnormal. the inferior wall is moderately hypokinetic. the estimated EF is 43%, visually this appears to be slightly under estimated.

can someone please help me understand this.

I really hate when doctors give reports and don't take the time to go over them.  AND neglect to return phone calls.  Have you heard from the doctor yet?  They will be best for understanding these results.  I can try to help a little.  The fixed defect means it is there at rest or when in stress (like during stress test). What is normal is something a doctor should be able to tell you.  It 'can' be normal but it also can indicate a past event such as infarction.  Please know, it also can be normal. Since it is moderate in size, I'd want more information. No ischemia is good!  That means blood flow is good. Minor wave (ST-T) are common.  But there isn't any information given about this.  I'd follow up on this as well.  These can be associated with cardiovascular issues and you would want to understand what exactly this means in your report. An Ejection Fraction or EF on a stress test of 41% to 49 % is considered borderline. Follow up on this as well. The abnormal wall motion is an indicator of potential ischemia which means blood flow.  Follow up on this.  A hypokinetic inferior wall is part of the wall motion.  They are saying they estimated your EF at 43% and it might be better than that.

I would most certainly not take my word for any of his and follow up with your doctor for full understanding.  Can you come back and tell us what they said?
