Thank you for letting us know. In England, getting an appointment that quick would be nothing short of a miracle.

From what you just said, I would get to see your surgeon and discuss this report. I think he will want to do something about the mitral and tricuspid valves. I would also ask about the left hypokinesis to see if he feels more blockages are going on. Your heart can be sorted out, but I really personally feel it should be done sooner rather than later.

Ed, thank you SO much for replying. I am very disappointed they mailed me the results apologizing for having to reschedule....which I have not done yet.  My surgeon I adore.....cardiologist group always seems to reschedule.  Report...right ventricular cavity mildly enlarged.  Right global systolic function is normal. Right atrial cavity size normal.  Aortic valve is trleaflet. Mild aortic cusp sclerosis is evident.  No aortic regurgitation.
Mital valve leaflet mobility appears normal.  Moderate to severe mitral regurgitation by color flow Doppler.  The regurgitation jet is posteriorly directed.
Triscupid valve leaflet appears normal. Severe triscupid regurgitation by color Doppler.  Evidence of mild pulmonary hypertension.
No pericardial effusion
No dilation of aortic root.
EF in July was 25-30 and is now 30-35.
Last April I thought I had indigestion.  Rushed to hospital.  In cath next morning I coded.  Fever and BP dropped.  I remember a little of that.
Since April I have lost 70 pounds, now in normal weight.  Blood sugars good, BP great, no SOB, but also for first time I had a slight elevation of liver enzymes....I don't drink.  General doc wants me to ask if it is the simvastatin.  In February I turned 51 and stopped by my surgeons office to say thank you....as well as hospital staff, etc.  he did say he thought he could "go in from the side" if I needed valve work.
You truly have no idea how much I appreciate your response.  My husband is great, but not a good advocate.  I have fraternal twins 18 who are seniors.  I want to be here for all of them.  I also have a lot of faith.  Usually positive, but this has thrown me

sorry but I have more questions. You have global moderate left ventricle hypokinesis? and last year you had quadruple bypass? This suggests to me that the heart is still ischemic, not receiving a good supply of blood to the left muscle. Have they suggested a ct angio or nuclear scan?
Your left ventricle is working hard trying to get blood to your body, and is compensating by enlarging. Your left atrium is also enlarged, probably due to the mitral valve leaking so much. I think you should see a surgeon, there is some work which likely needs doing. Your mitral valve is already moderate to severe, and can become worse at an alarming rate. If the mitral valve is repaired or replaced, then heart efficiency should increase and the chambers should reduce in size. Your tricuspid valve also requires attention. The report doesn't mention the right atrium or ventricle?
