Normal TTE (echocardiogram) and IRBBB

Hi all,

I am a 28 yo male, generally well and healthy.
I would like some opinions on symptoms which I am getting with my chest.

It started off with sharp pain which radiated down to my left arm and shortness of breath. I went to ED several times with similar symptoms. When my symptoms return, I also have panic attack which makes me go to toilet frequently/hearburn/indigestion. Often I get tight neck and back. My ECG revealed IRBBB but at some point it showed angina pectoris on ECG which they think not significant. My blood tests were all normal (inc. troponin).

I also had Gastroscopy to rule out any reflux or stomach ulcer. All came out clear.

What I want to know at short is would I be safe from any heart problems if my TTE was normal but IRBBB?

Thanks!

Hi there.
I think you should trust your doctors advice.
They are experts in their field and deal with these things all day long.
Im not saying that there is nothing going on, but it appears from the outside looking on, that possibly you are just absorbed by the problems you have had and that its a probable anxiety issue thats fuelling things a little.

All your tests have been ok as far as your doctors are concerned.

You need to try and tune out of the medical problems which seem to have become a monster in the room.

Go to your GP and seek his advice, go open minded and try get by one day at a time, eventually breaking the cycle of worries and fear you have.

Incomplete right bundle branch blockage is rarely significant. I've had one all my life, never even comes up anymore. Also, pain related to the heart are rarely sharp or short in nature so I think you're more likely dealing with anxiety issues.

Thanks for your comment. I had been getting the symptoms for around 8 months and lost 6 kilos. I went to emergency and GP several times for more tests: ECG, Holter monitor, stress test, echocardiogram (TTE), epigastric ultrasound and blood tests which all came out clear. But my symptoms are still there. I am getting tired easily and really sensitive to heat. Maybe its muscle related but not sure and because my symptoms persist, it makes me worried still :(

And because all my symptoms are on the left sided, it makes me worried about my heart. Should I be not worried about my heart at all if all my tests are okay?
