Numbers from Outer Space

I have been trying to understand my echocardiogram report.  The symbols and numbers might as well be from outer space.  When I look online, either the symbols or the units don't seem to match mine.  Anyone know what any of this means?
IVSd: 1.4 cm, LVIDd: 5.1 cm, Ao root diam: 2.9 cm, LVPWd: 1.4 cm, Ao root area: 6.5 cm^2, LA dimension: 4.0 cm, MV E max vel: 81.4 cm/sec, MV dec time: 0.21 sec, AoV2 max: 145.8 cm/sec, MV A max vel: 90.7 cm/sec, Ao max PG: 8.5 mmHg, MV E/A: 0.90???

Apparently I have pulmonary hypertension from sleep apnea.  Although, I have been fighting autoimmune issues for 16 years.  My "regular" blood pressure is low due to Addison's Disease.

If you do a google search using this phrase 'practical clinical skills ekg interpretation', you will find nice tutorials addressing your question.  However, it will be necessary for you to have studied human anatomy and physiology even to begin to get a grip on it.  The reason is that this is highly technical stuff that is almost impossible to explain to people without some specialized education.

At the bottom of your ekg report, there should be some kind of brief summary describing your heart's health in fairly plain English.  If that indicates your heart is not doing well, then by all means you should ask for more detailed explanations, but if you're basically OK, there's not too much point--except for this:  I always encourage really curious people to seek more knowledge, and taking basic anatomy and physiology at your local community college is an excellent goal.
