Pain in Right Side of Chest after Eating Some Fruit

After eating black seedless grapes (# 4056) I experienced shortness of breath and pain in the right side of chest.

I ate a banana and an apple after and there were no symptoms. Then I ate several grapes again and the symtoms got worse.
So it is clearly these grapes.

I previously had similar symptoms after quince and another fruit (do not remember which one).

My EKG recently was good according the doctor (never was bad before too).

I may have zinc excess and copper deficiency.

Are these symptoms harmless?

Thank you!

Hi, as your symptoms are occurring after consumption of an astringent fruit, its more likely that your symptoms are due to GERD, (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease), where the acid contents of the stomach came up into the esophagus. This is more so as the EKGs done are normal. The fruit could be triggering an acid reflux, avoid this and see if your symptoms improve. Regards.

That grape variety is somewhat astringent unless fully ripe.

Can astringency cause these symptoms (quince is also an astringent fruit)?
