Prinzmetal

My favorite friend just passed away at 52.  She had pinzmetal angina.  In October o 09 she had a synthictomy.  She was seeing some of the leading doctors.  She had a pace maker, a defib and the new EKG chip (it was a port).  She was cleared to go home because her overnight visit was PERFECT.  As she was getting ready to leave she had a massive MI.  Is there is foundation for prinzmetal angina?  Thank you for your help.
