Skipped heartbeats

I'm still getting skipped heartbeats now it's been about a month. I had my last heart surgery ten years ago for valve replacement. Have a 48 monitor due in Jan. Went to drs last week and they just checked my pulse and a blood form to have thyroid checked. Any advice I would be grateful. Is this a normal thing for people with heart conditions or is it something to worry about. Have no other symptoms apart from getting anxious now don't know if that's contributing. Ever time I wake up I hope they are gone but they are not.
