Standard echo vs stress echo

I had a stress echo done and it showed I had trace aortic regurgitation. The cardiologist did not seem to be concerned and said to have another echo done if I show new symptoms. I am worried because I heard that aortic valve regurgitation from aortic root dilation can progress quickly. I am concerned since the stress echo did not seem to have measured the aortic root and it bothers me to have to watch and wait when they haven’t looked deeper into the cause of the aortic valve regurgitation. My question is, do standard echos and stress echos give the same information? I assume a resting echo was done before the stress echo, but is it as detailed as a separately done echo? Should I be pushing for another echo to measure the aortic root?
