Thickened mitral leaflet

I'm 25 years old. I'm a female and suffering from galactorrhea for 10years.I am taking cabergolin (0.5) once a week. recently i feel palpitation at night then i went for an E.CG and they found sinus tachycardia and i went for an Echo. They found my anterior mitral leaflet (7mm) ,Area planimetry (3.6cm). I found in internet that cabergoline is responsible for vulvular heart disease but my endocrynologist didn't give any permission to stop this medicine. I'm really very much worried about my condition and I'm not getting any proper solution. Please help me with some precious solutions.
thank you.

In cases like this where your doctor is not helping with your concerns, I would get a second opinion. You med is a now cause for heart valve disease, although the risk is very, very small. Your doctor has mots likely weight the risk and benefit and has decided your meds are really necessary. You should have your questions answered and get some reassurance, your doctor owes you that. I am not a doctor so I can't comment on your prescription, go see another doctor for some answers if yours is not willing.
