fifth attempt (now without the micro character).
0,45nanogram per milliliter is the same as microgram per liter.
So you had a troponin level of 0,45microgram per liter.
As far as I know the levels for troponin I are interpreted as follows:
below 0,1microgram per liter is normal (some say below 0,06).
Between 0.1microgram and 0,49microgram is considered intermediate level.
Above 0.50microgram is considered positive for myocardial necrosis (death of some heart muscle cells).
I think you are in the intermediate category. I do not know what you complaint were but is further testing planned for you?
Take care

Third attempt:
µg/L is the same as ng/ml.
Your 0,45 ng/ml = 0.45µg/L
But afaik the value for Troponin I is interpreted as :
normal range is 0.50µg/L
So, according to this you are measured in the intermediate range.
Is further testing planned for you?
Hi Oatmeal23,
µg/L is the same as ng/ml.
Your 0,45 ng/ml = 0.45µg/L and that is of course well below the 10 µg/L.
But afaik the normal value for Troponin I is :
normal range 0,50µg/L
So, according to this you are measured in the intermediate range.
Is further testing planned for you?
