and ps. cardiomyopathy means heart disease, cardiomeglia or cardiomegaly mean "enlarged heart. just fyi
I don't think two false readings is correct here. I was ill at the time of my surgery and can believe that I had bradycardia. But since I have had three chest xrays and three ekg's since that time(7 yrs ago) no one has else found anything abnormal. My question is, is this a false reading or can the condition be reversed and I think you would have to be a dr to figure that one out for me, not a layperson. thanks.
It would be very hard to have a 'false' reading on both. Cardiomegelia is another name for cardiomyopathy. I would certainly be asking my doctor why no one has mentioned this before as this is a serious form of heart disease. If you are in menopause, obviously, you are a woman and sometimes doctors make light of a woman's heart disease. See a good cardiologist and get to the bottom of this problem.
