Did you ever see a electrophysiologist or just a regular cariologist? A electrophysiologist is a spealist for arrythmias.
I have no idea what's going on in there. I do know some folks actually have short runs of v-tach and are still around. Without "catching" it on a monitor it's impossible to guess. My heart does weird things too that I can't identify but I figure if it passes quickly and I didn't pass out, then it must not be a big deal. The other morning at work I was standing talking to a co-worker. My heart chose that quiet moment to do something weird and painful. My whole body jerked from the pain and I grabbed my chest. Not very subtle. My friend was shocked and started laughing, said she'd never seen me "have one" before - talking about my heart acting up. That wasn't my typical tachy times but it was a surprise. After the ache eased off I was fine, still am fine. If you're really worried about what happened you'll have to guess what might have triggered it and probably wear a monitor again, see if you can recreate the circumstances. Otherwise, it's just going to be one of those mystery heart farts.. Glad you're feeling OK now.
ireneo,
Heart fart?? That is GREAT! I have never heard that one before. It is awesome that you can keep your sense of humor through these dreadful things! You made my day. I am still laughing!!!!!! Thanks.
I know I talked to you a few weeks ago about my " Wacky Tachy" ......I went to my EP and he told me to take Flecainide 50 mg x2 a day and Attenolol 25 mg x1 a day. It is working!!! I have not had this much relief in 10 years. I do worry about the long term, but for now I feel so much better. I also was sent home with a 30day event monitor......Barely have anything to send. Just minor "farts"
Laughing again..Thanks for your humor.
Happy to make you smile. I'd rather laugh than cry; it's more fun.
