bleeding under skin

I saw 5 dime size blue marks on my right arm spaced out between lower and upper arm. I did not get hit in any of those places.  Did the 75mm Plavix plus two baby aspirin daily for 18 mos cause this and is it dangerous?  The plavix was prescribed because I had a drug eluding stent ( 3 of them) placed in my LAD which was 90 % occluded. Can I reduce my plavix to half one or two days and drop the aspirin to see if the spots go away and no more start?
Thanks!

I think you need to show your Doctor, and certainly nobody here will tell you to stop taking any medication against your Doctors wishes. You could speak with your Doctor and ask if either Aspirin or Plavix can be stopped, but definitely one must be taken for life. Each time I've taken Plavix, I've been told to stop after 1 year to 18 months because there is no evidence to support benefits after that time. However, the medication had to be reversed because Aspirin started to give me stomach cramps So they ditched the Aspirin and I'm now on Plavix for life.

Plavix is a very strong medication. They give it to you even if you have 1 to 10 percent blockage, and in spite of abnormal bleeding, like me. I wish they would stop it.
