need advise

eight years ago I went into heart failure. I was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy.  I was doing very
well on my heart medicines.  Then two years ago I had breast cancer.  I had a mastectomy done
so that I would not have to undergo radiation as I was told it would be bad for my heart.  I have
been on tamoxifin for the past two years.  In the last six months my heart has not been doing
as well as previously.  My echo has gone from a 48 to 30 injection fraction.  I have terrible hot
flashes and night sweats due to the tamoxifin throwing me into menapause.  I started taking
black cohosh for the hot flashes and it has really helped.  Could this maybe be harming my heart?

Black cohosh has been very good for me.
As to your heart, I would check it with an MD.
I recomment checking this site, it was very helpful for me

I am not aware of any adverse cardiac side effects reported with black cohosh.  If it helps with the hot flashes, it is probably ok to use.
