can hot pepper sauce cause atriofibulation

Every time I eat a lot of hot pepper sauce with chips my heart goes into erradic beats and atriofibulation.  If I eat a lot it taked about 16 hrs before it goes away.
Is this really the cause or am I on the wrong track.

Yes, spicy hot foods is a common trigger for a-fib. I have read alot of posts on different forums from people who have had to stop eating spicy foods due to their a-fib.

I have had oplation and I am also taking tikosyn at 500mcg 2 per day.
I have atriofibulation
