thanks, i was just wondering if those blockages in the small arteries could cause the angina. she says the arteries are to small to stent or bypass, thanks again for your comments
I am not very good at interpretations of the doctor's notes, but I do know that I have had a different type of chest pain AFTER my RCA was stented. The chest pain I had that sent my to the hospital was very different, and that was BEFORE the RCA stenting. This past April a lot of my chest pain was diagnosed as spasms. But there is still angina from my other smaller blockages. I take the Nitro Quick and Isosorbide to help with the chest pains. The Isosorbide is a pill that is taken 3 times a day and is a nitrate. I also take a calcium channel blocker for the spasms. It takes a little trial and error with the meds before you can find a remedy that works for you. It did for me. Continue to work with your doctor until you find some relief. You could start with a long acting nitrate. Ask your doctor. Take care, Ally
