Just to be sure we're talking about the same thing...a regular CT scan of the chest does NOT look at your coronary arteries for plaque - the only CT scan that does is the aforementioned CT angiogram.

Yes, a ct scan angiogram will show occlusions, as well as stress perfusion test, EKG, etc.  Sensitivity rating is highest with a cath angiogram.
