Do you know a surgeon who specializes in myxomas.  I would like to find someone who has done many of these successfully.  Thank you!

Dear mb456
Thank you for sharing your experience.  I am now in the Heart Centre, Kota Samaraham of East Malaysia. I am confirmed as having left atrial myoma.  The Heart Surgeon treats as URGENT case.
I do not know where is it best to do the operation, am thinking of flyng to Singapore.  Does anyone know if flying is dangerous?  Thank you again.

You can always have the new robotic surgery to have it removed at St Joseph's Heart Hospital in Atlanta GA.  It is a less invasive procedure and you don't have the zipper scar in front either!  I had it done in 2006 there by Dr Douglas Murphy.  You can email me at
***@**** if you need any help with it.

An echo periodically should be sufficient as the growth is in all likelihood slow growing  and would not cause any symptoms.
