my hubby had emergency triple bypass this week.
Surgery went fine but post surgery his heart rate is 103-110 even with Metopropolol. Surgeon is also concerned that his lips are a little blue w oxygen at 1 and showing 93% saturation. I'm feeling concerned. Ideas? Questions I should ask? He's at a nationally known hospital btw. All tests prior to surgery were normal, w mild athrosclerosis in two vessels. Cardiologist ordered cardiac cath because he had chest pain, shortness of breath on stairs, and extreme unrelenting fatigue. Cath showed 70% blockage in LAD and two others.
