palpitations and vagus nerve

Daily  episodes in the AM mostly after breakfast, pins and needles feeling the upper arms, lower legs and face, numbness in the  check area, swollen eyes, feeling like come out of socket,  rapid heart palpitations,
it pretty much goes away after a few hours .  always feel better in the evening.

I have had  medium high blood pressure, ,  an  mild heart  arrhythmia for years ,   but after being subject to a chemical stress test which induced atrial fibrillation, from then on these daily episodes started.

i'm a 91 year old that is very active. I have not been able to have my normal routine or drive since Dec 15th 2010-
getting depressed, is  this the end of my normal life.?.   Someone  one in the forum mentioned  to check the Vagus nerve.  Has anyone heard of similar symptoms as mine ...  I will go  to see my cardiologist with this info, and in 2 week i'm getting a second opinion at UCSF .  I would appreciate any feedback.

You should seek treatment for your depression.  There are physiological effects that can change the biochemistry of your system and cause some of the symptoms you are experiencing.  There could by thyroid implications as well, and blood chemistry could cause heart palpitations.

Thanks for sharing and if you have any further questions or comments you are welcome to respond.  Take care, and I wish you well going forward.
