UPCOMING CT ANGIOGRAM ON CORONARY ARTERIES

I have a private test coming up for a check on my coronary artery’s.

I have had left shoulder/neck/arm pain over the past few months now and it always gets worse with stressful situations! Sometimes there is chest discomfort other times none!

I’m only 27, and I don’t have risk factors but I need to be sure it’s not some angina based pain where I have some underlying issue on my artery’s - hence why I’m going for a CT angiogram.

What are they like? I’m good with medical procedures, can sit watching blood being drawn from my arm, look at a catheter in my arm for hours. I’m not squeamish!

I’m scared about the beta blocker that is given before, and how it make me feel. Will it make me feel dizzy? Will it cause arrhythmia? I’ve never taken one before
