I think this was addressed in your other post. However, to emphasise matters again, you need to establish what risk factors you have in your life. You say you exercise and watch your diet but there are more. Obviously smoking is another. Keep an eye on your blood pressure, I have mine checked every 6 months now to ensure it's in the normal range. Look at your life at home and see if there is a lot of stress you can start avoiding somehow. If you work, is it a stressful job, if so, change your job. No job is worth your life. I found it easy to avoid stress after my bypass because I saw life in a different way. I now see life as too short to worry over anything and no matter how much you panic, tomorrow always comes. So what's the point. I actually find it amusing to see others get stressed out now, especially as they don't realise it's happening half the time.

If your cholesterol is in the normal range, have it checked once a year to make sure it hasn't crept up.
