left shoulder pain

My dad had 2 stents about 6 weeks ago. He  is 51 years old. And doctor said that within 3 moths open heart surgery has to be done.

However, he started to going to work since last week.

But, he is having sever shoulder pain (left).

It bothers me very much since most people are expected to perform normal activity in 3 months after surgery but he seems to be like the person who just got the surgery.

what is happening to him?

I think he needs to see the cardiologist and have his stents evaluated. It could be he requires FFR or maybe they have blocked up again. Perhaps they will just want to perform bypass surgery now.

Hi, it can take 12 weeks for stents to work. By that I mean for heart muscle to fully recover. Why do they feel he requires surgery after a short time? Does he have more blockages?
