surgery for dilated ascending aorta

hi, i've been diagnose with a dilated ascending aorta size:5.9-6.1cm, , is there any special surgery less invasive then the open heart surgery, appreciate your early response as i need your expertise recomendation and time is of the essence ,please help thanking you in davance

thanking you for your immediate response,i have visited our local cardiologist and agreed with your advice that open heart is still the best option available and i have been refered to national heart institute i wish to thank you very much and will update on the forum once i return from surgery

I think some newer technologies are available for the descending aorta but I don't think they've yet been approved for the ascending aorta, or they do not work.  I think open heart is still the gold standard.  That size is very big as you know and I would consult with a reputable cardiothoracic surgeon immediately.
