My husband had a mild heart attack when he was 47. His circumflex artery was 90% blocked so an angioplasty and stent (non-drug) was placed and he has been fine. That was six years ago. He did not have typical heart attack symptoms, there was no chest pain at all, only nausea and feeling clammy. He didn't want to go to the ER, but I insisted. His cardiac enzymes were only mildly elevated, and there was no damage at all to his heart muscle. But the last couple of days, he has complained of being tired, and feeling queasy and clammy at times so I am worried again that it could be his heart, but he says he doesn't think so because he has been belching some foul smelling stuff so really thinks it is a digestive issue this time. I cannot convince him to go to the ER but he did make a dr. appt. for tomrrow afternoon. I am feeling very uneasy about him waiting to have this checked out. I would appreciate any opinions or advice....thanks.
