3 second heart pause

I have had my implantable heart monitor for just over 2 months. It has recorded 1 heart pause that was just over 3 seconds, I guess my question is can this be a one time thing? Everything I have read says if it is 3 seconds or longer it is pathalogical.
thanks in advance for any responses

I (think) if you have heart pauses--that are dangerous--which I think is 3 seconds or over, you usually get a pacemaker put in, but I am not sure. No doubt someone with first  hand knowledge witll reply soon. Hold tight till they reply. :)

Thanks, when it happened they said if it continued that I would need a pacemaker. But in the 2 months it has only happened the one time.
I wonder how often is to often for heart pauses over 3 seconds.
thanks again
