sleeping disorder???

Hi, I've been occasionally waking up screaming, sweating, shaking, crying (sometimes), and my heart-beating rapid. some include dream or nightmares that i can never remember for some reason.

For me it seems like it's coming from an outside source, something like a humming, I wake up obruptly  because I think subconsciously my body knows its disruptive to my internal harmony. It alway happens between midnight and 6 am or atleast thats when I notice it. Not sure what to make of it but it concerns me on a number of levels as my kids sleep in proximity to this.

Hi Samantha, Welcome to the forum. I am sorry you are having such a hard time.  It sounds very upsetting what you are experiencing.  It sounds like there may be some psychological issues going on coming up in the form of nightmares so you may want to talk to your doctor about it and possibly find a therapist to talk to.  Unresolved past trauma can find it's way into our dreams even trauma we don't remember.  I see you are only 14.  Have you talked to your parents about this?  You might want to try posting your comment in the Teen Depression forum, http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Teen-Depression/show/185 or in the Sleep Disorder forum, http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Sleep-Disorders/show/108
