Amioderone given in error

Was given amioderone for 48 hours due to crossed patient telemetry modules.  Other patient had a-fibKilled 18 inches of vein in arm.  Hosptal says no problem or concerns.  I have had light sensitivity in addition to other questionable problems.  No tests or evaluations ever done.

Hospital management was absolutely no help and unconcerned.  They credited approx $3,000.00 and said that was a "lot of money"  I' ve seen only a few of my bills and they were around $125,000.00.

Oh well.

If you have continuing and unusual/new physical symptoms following the "error" you should discuss them with your doctor.

I assume the "error" was made while you were in the hospital, correct?  I would in such a case expect the hospital staff monitoring the Amioderone administration would know what to do and what to look for.
