Hahahahaha!! We're not exactly sure why the turkey sandwich seems to be the standard fare for all ablation patients! One of our members (RNRita) mentioned that her hospital usually has them on hand....
I know when I was in the hospital, dinner had already come around, so one of the wonderful nurses reached in the floor frig and whoala....a turkey sandwich!!
Thanks for the updates Mark!!
connie
Kudo's to Mark for filling all of us in. What a guy!! Take it easy Betty & talk to you soon...Pam
The turkey sandwich is the be-all, end-all of the hospital refrigerator....along with pudding, skim milk, Italian ice (which I helped myself to every night), and jello. Turkey has many mysterious healing powers, never gets caught in your throat while you try to eat lying down after a cath, and they keep turkeys in the basement, so it is cheap.....okay, well that is all a lie but they are always on hand.
LOL!!!!
Italian ice sounds wonderful!!!
I was amazed that when I was on the telemetry floor, I could not get decaf tea...cracked me up! One of the nurses reached into her private stash and gave me a decaf tea bag.... : )
you all have to cheer me up now!!being a UK girl all i got was a mankie cheese/onion one and most of that ended up on the floor lol!!
What the heck is mankie cheese/onion? ACK!
omg hun youre funny!!!!im sorry i forget im a wee scottish lass lol, mankie is just a word for stale..........
OH...well, then I want one. It sure sounds good. Did I mention I love food?
